Selvel

Our place, Selvel, is in Mohali on 1st Main, 4th Cross H N 51. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you don’t know the turns, but once you find the 4th Cross, we are right there. We deal with household items and storage stuff mostly. The warehouse area is big and filled with stacks of plastic goods and containers. It’s a bit chilly in the mornings during the winter months. We wear sweaters and drink hot tea while we check the inventory. The office part is just a small partitioned area with some old wooden desks. We have a lot of files piled up because we haven't gone digital with everything yet. It feels more real to have the paper in front of you. Most of our work is talking to suppliers or helping people who come in looking for specific sizes of bins. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is nice. We don't have to deal with much traffic right outside our door. Sometimes we hear the birds in the trees nearby. We have a small yard in the back where we keep some of the larger items. It’s just a regular business run by people who have lived in Mohali for years. We don't do much advertising. Most of our business comes from people telling their neighbors about us. It is a simple way to run things.
