Saini Taxi Tour & Travels

You can find us right across from the main bus stand in Sector 22B. It’s a loud spot, always buses coming and going, but that's why we're here. Saini Taxi Tour & Travels has been around this part of Chandigarh for a long time. We have our drivers parked nearby, waiting for the next passenger who gets off a long-distance bus and needs to get home or to a hotel. It’s a lot of waiting around sometimes, then everything happens at once. We know all the shortcuts through the sectors to avoid the red lights. The office isn't much to look at, just a place to keep the keys and take calls. We have some regular customers who call us every time they come to the city. We appreciate that. Sometimes the cars need repairs and it's a headache, but that’s the life of a taxi owner. We try to keep things simple. If you need a ride, we find a driver. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the phone and people walking in from the street. Sector 22 is always bustling. We see everyone from students to old folks. We just keep the cars moving and hope the petrol prices don't go up too much. It's hard work but it keeps us going. We usually have the radio on to pass the time between bookings. It’s a basic business but it serves the local people well.
