If you’re heading down Chilkur Balaji Temple Road in Manimajra, you’ll find us at number 192. Sadana Electronics has been a part of this street for a long time. I remember when the road wasn't even this busy. Now, there’s traffic all day long. My father started this shop, and I just sort of took over after helping out for years. We handle a bit of everything when it comes to electronics. Some days it’s mostly fixing old television sets that people can’t bear to throw away. Other days, we’re selling remote controls or batteries. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit cluttered with wires and circuit boards piled up on the counter. We don’t have a big staff, just me and a couple of guys who know their way around a soldering iron. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. If a repair is going to take a week because we’re waiting on a part from another city, we just say so. People appreciate that. We see the same faces every month, people stopping by for a chat even if they don’t need anything fixed. Being near the temple means we get a lot of foot traffic, and it’s nice to be part of the local community here. It’s a simple life, keeping the neighborhood’s gadgets running. We just open the shutters, drink some tea, and get to work every morning.
