S Trans is situated in Manimajra on Aarey Road, right across from Kalagram. Being opposite such a well-known spot makes it easy for people to find us. This is the transport business, which means there’s a lot of coming and going at all hours. Our yard often has trucks parked in it, and there is usually some loading or unloading happening throughout the day. A basic building on the lot serves as the office where we keep logbooks and talk to the drivers. It gets pretty dusty out here, and the sun can be quite harsh, but we’re used to it after all these years. Handling a variety of goods and moving them from one point to another is what we do. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s necessary for things to get where they need to go. A lot of time is spent on the phone coordinating various pickups and deliveries. Sometimes things get delayed because of weather or road repairs, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. Having been in this location for a while now, we’ve seen how much Manimajra has grown. The staff here is small, consisting of just a few people to handle the paperwork and dispatching. No fancy tracking software is used; instead, we mostly rely on our drivers and our own experience. It’s a straightforward operation. Our focus is strictly on getting the cargo to its destination. We don't spend time making it look pretty.
