Reliance Capital

We’ve been operating out of Flat No 11 in Kamayani Kunj for quite some time now. IP Extension is a busy part of Delhi, but our spot is relatively quiet, which helps when we're looking at numbers all day. It’s a basic office setup. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets that probably need replacing, and a kettle that’s always running. Reliance Capital is what it says on the door, but to most people around here, we’re just the folks in the flat on the corner. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive chairs. Most of our day is spent dealing with paperwork and helping people figure out their capital needs. It’s not glamorous work. Sometimes the printer jams or the heat gets a bit much, but we keep going. Delhi life is fast, so we try to stay on top of things as they come in. People from the nearby apartments usually just drop by when they have a question. We don’t do big presentations. We just sit down, look at the papers, and see what can be done. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. We know the local chai wallah by name and usually have our lunch together. It’s a practical way to run a business. We stay focused on the tasks at hand without making a big fuss about it. We close up around six most evenings.
