The Abb Ltd office in Chandigarh is over in Sector 47 C, at number 2641 1. It’s a nice, planned out area, which makes getting around a bit easier than in other cities. The building is simple and doesn't stand out much from the others on the block. Inside, we have a fairly standard office setup. There’s a main room where most of us sit, and a smaller back room for storage and the water cooler. We spend a lot of our time going through data and making sure everything is logged correctly. It’s a quiet atmosphere for the most part, unless someone is on a particularly long phone call. We’ve been at this location for a while, and we’ve made the space our own. There are a few plants by the window that one of the staff tries to keep alive, though they look a bit sad sometimes. We don't have a receptionist, so whoever is closest to the door usually greets anyone who walks in. It’s a very informal environment. We talk about the local news or what we’re having for dinner while we work. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We just have our tasks and we get them done at a steady pace. It’s a good spot to work, away from the real heavy traffic of the city center. We just keep things moving along day by day without too much fuss or trouble.
