Our office is over in Sector 7C, specifically at number 1894. Chandigarh is a very organized place, and our sector is no exception. It’s a fairly quiet area compared to some of the other blocks. We’ve been here for a while, just doing the usual office work. We help people find jobs, which involves a lot of sitting at desks and making phone calls. The building is standard for this part of the city. We don't have any big neon signs or anything like that. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just looking up the address. It’s a small team of us here. We share some snacks in the afternoon and talk about what’s going on in the city. The work isn't flashy, but it’s necessary. We see a lot of different people every day. Some are looking for their first job and others are trying to change careers. We just try to give them the facts and see where they might fit. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t go for all that corporate polish. It’s just a place where work gets done and people get sent to their new roles. The garden nearby is a nice place to sit for a few minutes if the day gets too stressful. We like the pace of things here in this part of town and the people are generally very patient with us when things take time.
