I'm over at 162 Sector 17, which is a pretty central spot to be. Sector 17 has always been the heart of the city, so there’s always something happening outside the door. My setup here is fairly simple. It’s not one of those big offices with a receptionist and a glass door. It’s just a room where I get my work done and meet with people who need to talk. I’ve been in this location for a while, and I’ve seen the shops around me change many times. The building is older, but it has a bit of character that you don't find in the newer sectors. Most of my day is spent reading through things or talking on the phone. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the shops downstairs. I don't really go for all that modern marketing stuff. People usually find me because they were told to come here by someone they know. I like the routine of coming in, opening the windows if the weather is nice, and getting started on the pile of papers on my desk. There is a tea stall nearby that I visit at least twice a day. It’s just me and my work here. I don't have any big corporate goals or anything. I just aim to handle whatever comes across my desk properly and keep things moving. It’s a steady way to spend the day in a part of town I know very well.
