Our office is in the New Bar Complex, specifically Room Number 21. If you enter the High Court through Gate Number 4, you just need to look up because we are right above it. Chandigarh is a busy place, and the court area is probably the busiest part of the whole city. Most of our day is spent walking back and forth between the courtrooms and this small room. Stacks of legal files and thick books seem to take up every available inch of space here. While it might not be the most organized office you will ever see, we have our own system for finding what we need. The building stays full of people, and the constant hum of conversations from the hallway never really stops. We have been practicing law in this spot for a long time now. After the morning hearings are over, we usually get back to the desk to catch up on all the reading. Dealing with paperwork can be tedious, but it is just part of the job. Around four o’clock, we usually take a short break for tea when the noise settles down. You won't find any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and a couple of law certificates. This is a plain, functional space where we focus on our work. We do not try to act like we are in a movie. It is just about handling the cases and the clients as they come.
