Vijay Sharma

My name is Vijay Sharma and I work out of 442 in Mohali Sector 16. This is basically my home base. I’ve lived in Mohali for a long time, so I know these streets pretty well. The office is just a room I’ve set aside. It’s got everything I need—a phone, a printer that sometimes jams, and a window that looks out onto the street. It’s not a corporate headquarters by any stretch of the imagination. I handle things myself mostly. If you call, you’re talking to me, not a receptionist. Sector 16 is a nice place, fairly residential, so it stays calm. I like the routine of it. I wake up, have my breakfast, and walk a few steps to start the day. There aren't any big signs outside or anything. People usually find me through someone they know. I don’t see the need for a lot of noise. I just do the work that comes my way and try to do it right. Sometimes the days are long, especially when I’m trying to finish something before the weekend starts. But I don’t mind. It’s my own space and I run it my way. No fancy mission statements here, just a guy at 442 Mohali trying to keep things moving. It’s been working out okay so far, and I don’t plan on changing much. I’ve got my books, my files, and the neighbor’s dog barking once in a while.
