Rama Store Pvt Ltd is located at 1114 & 15 in Sector 22. We’ve got two units side by side, which gives us a bit more room than some of the other places around here. It’s a local store, nothing too elaborate. We carry all the daily essentials and some other items that people in Sector 22 often look for. I started working here because I wanted to stay close to home. The shelves are usually full, and I spend a lot of my time restocking things or checking the dates on the packages. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the two units. The floors are plain concrete, and we have simple metal shelving. It’s easy to clean, which is good because it gets dusty being near the road. We have a few regular customers who come in every morning for their usual things. I know most of them by name. We don’t do any big advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here. Sometimes the deliveries arrive all at once and the entryway gets blocked for an hour, but we move fast to clear it. It’s a steady kind of job. I have a small stool behind the counter, but I rarely get to sit on it for long. There is always a box to open or a shelf to straighten out. It keeps me busy enough and the days go by pretty fast.
