Rachna Sood

I am Rachna Sood and my workplace is located at 1117/A in Sector 46 Gidc. Working in a GIDC area means you are surrounded by industry and manufacturing which gives the whole place a very functional feel. There are no fancy boutiques or cafes around here just rows of units and a lot of people getting their work done. My office is a small space where I handle my daily professional tasks and meet with people who have business in this area. It is a bit out of the way for some but for those who know the industrial estate it is easy enough to find. I have been based in Sector 46 for several years and I have grown to appreciate the no-nonsense attitude of the people here. We don't spend money on expensive furniture or decorations because the focus is always on the work itself. The streets can be a bit rough and the trucks often block the narrow lanes but you get used to it after a while. I handle my own scheduling and paperwork so things stay pretty simple and direct. It is a quiet existence inside the office even if the outside world is noisy with the sound of machinery and traffic. I just try to stay organized and keep moving through my list of things to do every day. There is always plenty to keep me busy until it is time to head home.
