Queen Travels Chandigarh

Queen Travels Chandigarh is located right in the middle of the action at Shop Number 30 inside the ISBT in Sector 17. Being at the Inter State Bus Terminus means we are surrounded by people 24/7. The shop itself is quite small, as you would expect for a bus stand location. It’s basically just a counter, a couple of chairs, and our computer equipment. There is a constant noise of buses pulling in and out and drivers calling out destinations. We don’t have a lot of peace and quiet here, but it’s a great place to be if you’re helping people with travel. Most of our day is spent talking to commuters or people who have just arrived in the city and need to figure out their next move. The shop is simple, with some travel schedules taped to the window and a few pens scattered on the desk. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning, just a good fan to keep the air moving. Sector 17 is the heart of the city, so even when the bus stand isn’t busy, the surrounding area is. We see people from all walks of life every single day. It’s a very grounded, basic way to run a business. We just open up the shutter in the morning and start helping whoever walks up to the window with their questions or booking needs. Every day is a little different.
