Punjab State Cooperative Bank

We operate the Punjab State Cooperative Bank out of House No 5460 in the Modern Housing Complex in Manimajra. It’s a bit different because we are located right inside a residential housing area. This makes it feel much more like a community spot than a big bank branch in a high-rise. People from the neighborhood just walk over when they need to talk about their accounts or some paperwork. We have our setup in unit 3, and it stays quite busy during the morning hours. We handle all the usual banking tasks, like deposits and checking on loans, but it’s done in a very local way. The office is small and practical. We know a lot of the faces that come through the door because they live just a few blocks away. Being in Chandigarh 160101 means we are right in the heart of this complex. Sometimes it gets a bit tight inside when several people arrive at once, but we just make do with the space we have. We keep our ledgers and computers running, focusing on the daily transactions. It’s a simple operation without any of the extra bells and whistles you see in commercial areas. We like being here because it’s convenient for the people we serve every day. It feels more like a part of the local life than just a workplace. The neighborhood kids sometimes play outside while their parents are inside doing business. It's a regular part of the morning.
