Panchkula Clinical Laboratory

Panchkula Clinical Laboratory is situated in Manimajra at Sco 855. It is a functional space that we’ve set up to handle all the daily testing requirements that come our way. When you walk in, you’ll see the reception counter first, which is usually where one of us is sitting with a logbook. Behind that is the area where we keep the equipment and the samples. We try to keep everything as clean as possible, so there’s always that slight smell of disinfectant in the air. The floor is tiled, and the lights are quite bright so we can see what we are doing clearly. It’s not a very large place, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the Sco 855 unit. Manimajra is a lively area, and being in an SCO means there are always people moving around outside. We get here early in the morning to calibrate everything before the first person arrives. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit old now, but they are comfortable enough. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and some necessary charts. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is on the tubes and the microscopes. We go through a lot of gloves and cotton swabs every single day. The work is repetitive but it requires a lot of steady hands and patience during the morning rush.
