We are located at House No 1673 in Ram Nagar, which is part of Kalka in Haryana. Our office is basically a house that we use for Oceanic Consultants Pvt Ltd. It has a very local feel to it, and most people in the neighborhood know where we are because we’ve been here for quite some time. Kalka is a unique place, being so close to the hills, and the air feels a bit different than the bigger cities. Our daily routine is pretty simple. We open up in the morning, clear the dust off the desks, and start looking through whatever mail or messages came in. The rooms are a bit small, and we have folders stacked on almost every flat surface, but it’s our way of staying organized. We don’t have a big receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and someone will be there to help you out. It is a very hands-on kind of environment. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computer, just keeping up with the consulting stuff we do. There is no corporate polish here, just a group of us doing our jobs in a regular house on a regular street. When the weather is nice, we might step outside for a bit, but mostly we are inside making sure the paperwork is done correctly. It is just a modest operation in a small town, and we like it that way.
