Niper

Our current location is H 210 in the New Hostel at the Niper campus in Mohali. This isn't a traditional business office at all; it's more of a place where research and student life happen simultaneously. Being in Punjab, we get to experience all the seasons very clearly, from the dust of the summer to the chilly winter mornings. The hostel is usually buzzing with activity, especially in the evenings when everyone is back from their labs. We spend a lot of time reading, writing reports, and discussing pharmaceutical projects. The rooms are pretty basic with a bed, a desk, and some shelves for books. It’s a very academic environment where the main goal is to finish the research work. You can always find someone drinking tea and talking about their experiments in the common areas. We don't have fancy decorations or professional receptionists. It’s just us and our work. Sometimes it feels a bit isolated from the rest of Mohali, but we have everything we need right here. The walk to the main department buildings is quite short. We keep a pretty tight schedule between our studies and our rest. It’s a place for people who are dedicated to their science and don't mind living simply while they do it. We share the space with a lot of different people from all over the country, so you hear many languages in the corridors. It’s just a regular hostel life for us.
