We are based at the Bhupesh Pratap Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics Lab, which is actually part of the Dr. Reddy's Lab facilities in Hyderabad. It’s a very specific environment here because we are doing scientific research most of the time. You will see people in lab coats moving between the benches and the equipment. We don't have a front desk for customers because our work is all about testing and data. We study how different medicines work and how they are processed by the body. There is a lot of focus on accuracy, so the atmosphere is usually quite serious and quiet. We spend hours looking at computer screens or checking samples. It's not a typical office job where you talk on the phone all day. Hyderabad is such a big hub for pharmacy and medicine, so being inside this lab feels right. We have our own small break area where we grab lunch and talk about things other than science for a bit. The facility is kept very clean and the machines have a constant hum to them. It takes a long time to get results, so we have to be patient with the process. We aren't trying to sell anything to the public here. We just provide the data and the research that other people need for their work. It is a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one study at a time and keep our records updated.
