Navjot Stove

Navjot Stove is a small shop located in Manimajra. We have been here for a long time, fixing all kinds of kitchen stoves and burners. Our hands are almost always covered in soot and grease from taking apart old stoves that don't light up properly. It is messy work, but it needs doing. Most of our customers are people from the local Manimajra area who bring in their equipment when it starts acting up. We have a lot of old spare parts scattered around the workbench and in boxes on the floor. It isn't a very organized place, but we know exactly where the right valve or knob is hidden. Sometimes a fix takes only a few minutes, and other times we have to spend hours scrubbing out the old pipes. We don't have a big sign or any fancy lights outside. People usually find us because their neighbor told them we do okay work. It gets quite hot in the shop during the summer months with no big fans. We just keep our heads down and get the repairs done so people can go home and cook their dinner. We’ve seen the same stoves come back every few years for a tune-up. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We don't bother with anything flashy, just the tools and the stoves. Manimajra has changed a lot, but our little corner feels pretty much the same as it always has.
