Goyal Bartan Store

If you head down to Manimajra and look for number 2214, you’ll find Goyal Bartan Store. It’s a small place packed with stainless steel pots, pans, and all kinds of kitchen stuff. We have things stacked from the floor to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two people are inside. The pots catch the light and make the whole place look brighter than it actually is. We spend a lot of time polishing the display pieces so they don't look dull. Manimajra is a crowded market area, so there’s always people walking by and peeking in. We don’t have a big staff, just family mostly. We’ve been selling utensils here for a long time. The street outside is narrow and can get quite muddy when it rains. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when things are quiet. Most of our customers are from the nearby houses. They come in looking for a new tawa or a pressure cooker. We don’t do any big advertising. People just know we are here at 2214. It’s a simple business. We close up for a bit in the afternoon for lunch and then stay open late. It’s a noisy, friendly neighborhood. We aren't trying to be a big chain, just a local store where you can get your kitchen basics without any fuss or high prices.
