We have been at Plot 267 in Peenya 2nd Stage for a while now. Most people know this part of Industrial Area Phase II, it’s always busy with trucks and noise from the surrounding shops. Balaji Nagar can be a bit of a maze if you do not know the cross streets, but once you find A Cross, we are right there. Our workshop at Modern Metals isn't anything fancy. It is just a place where we get the work done every day. Sometimes the power goes out or the traffic on Thigarapalya road gets backed up, but we stay busy. We mostly just focus on the metal stuff that comes through the door. It is dusty work and our hands are usually dirty by noon. We do not have a big office or a front desk with a receptionist. Usually, you will just find one of us near the machines. It has been this way since we first set up shop here. We know the neighbors and the tea stall nearby. It is an honest living in a tough part of town. We do not spend much time on the computer, mostly we are just handling the materials and making sure things are cut right. The floor is concrete and the roof is high, which helps when it gets hot in the afternoons. It is just us doing what we do. We have seen a lot of people come and go, but we just keep doing our thing here.
