Metro Exporters Ltd

We are based at S.C.O. 80-81 in Sector 17-C, which is a fairly standard spot for offices. Metro Exporters Ltd has been running from these rooms for a long time now. It’s really just a few desks, some computers, and a lot of filing cabinets for shipment paperwork. Dealing with export work means we spend all day on the phone or typing out emails. It isn't the most exciting way to spend a day, but it’s the work we know. The office gets a bit dusty since we leave the windows open to get a breeze when it’s hot. We have a small group working here, and everyone just handles their own tasks to keep things moving. Sector 17-C can be confusing because all the buildings look the same, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We don't have fancy signs or a lobby where you wait. People usually just come in to sign some documents or talk about logistics, and then they're off. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big shipment going out, just to check that the details are right. It’s a lot of double-checking numbers on lists. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but we just keep showing up every morning. It’s a predictable rhythm, and we are fine with that. There is always more work to do tomorrow.
