Metallica Interiors

If you find yourself on Mahatma Gandhi Road near Sector 35, you’ll probably see where we are. Metallica Interiors is a small outfit. We deal with all sorts of interior work, mostly using metal because that’s what we’re good at. The shop isn't massive. It’s usually filled with tools, some half-finished frames, and a lot of sawdust or metal filings. We spend our time taking measurements and trying to figure out how to make things fit into people's spaces. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet all day. The traffic on MG Road is always humming in the background, which you get used to after a week or so. We have a few guys who handle the heavy lifting and the welding. It’s a bit messy, to be honest. We aren't the type to have a polished lobby. Usually, there’s a tea stall nearby where we go for a break. We take on jobs for houses or offices, whatever comes our way. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought it would, but that’s just the nature of working with your hands. We just try to finish what we started and move on to the next one. It's just us at number 342, doing what we do every day. Nothing more to it really. It gets dusty, and we don't always have everything in its place, but the work happens anyway. It is just life here.
