Manu Travels

If you go down to Pipli Wala Town in Mani Majra, you’ll find us at shop number 2366/2. We’re quite close to the railway crossing, which is a landmark everyone around here knows. It’s a noisy spot sometimes with the trains going by, but it makes us easy to find. We’ve been here for a while, just doing our thing with travel bookings and such. It’s a small shop, nothing too fancy. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit while we look up prices or routes. Running a travel desk in a place like Mani Majra means you meet all sorts of people. Some are looking to visit family, others are going on a holiday. We just sit here and do the work. The walls are a bit plain, maybe we should put up more posters, but we usually forget. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets busy. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us answering the phone and writing things down in our ledger. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts, which is annoying when you’re trying to print a ticket, but we manage. People in Pipli Wala Town are friendly, so we often end up chatting about the news or the weather while we work. It’s just a normal local business. We keep it simple and try to stay organized, even if the desk gets a bit cluttered with papers and pens sometimes.
