Mandeep S Saini here. My office is over at 1736 Sector 17, in the Antop Hill area. It’s a busy part of the city, and there’s always something going on outside the window. I’ve been working out of this spot for several years, and I’ve grown fond of the chaos of Sector 17. It has a specific energy that you don't find elsewhere. My work involves a lot of coordination and talking to people from all over. I don't really have a corporate background; I just learned by doing things the hard way. The office at 1736 isn't huge, but it’s enough for what I need. I keep my files organized, though my desk might look like a mess to anyone else. Most of my clients are people who live or work around Antop Hill, though I do get some folks from further out who heard about me from a friend. I try to be as helpful as I can without promising things I can't deliver. That’s just common sense. We have our routines, like the tea break in the afternoon when we talk about everything except work for a few minutes. It keeps us sane. Being in Sector 17 has its challenges, like the parking, but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It’s where we belong and where we do our best work. We don't need a mission statement when the work speaks for itself clearly.
