Major Beant Singh

Our small office is located at Sco 196 in the Vidhanasoudha Layout area. We are right over in Sector 7, near the 3rd Cross street. We have been in this same spot for quite a while now, and most people in the neighborhood know where we are. The name on our door is Major Beant Singh. We don’t do much in the way of advertising or trying to get attention. Most of the people who come to see us are neighbors or people who heard about us from a friend. The office is a bit old-fashioned, with a few wooden chairs and stacks of paper on every flat surface. We spend most of our time dealing with various local matters and handling the paperwork that comes with them. It can get pretty busy on certain mornings when everyone seems to need something at the same time. We don't have a large staff, just a couple of us who have been doing this for a long time. The layout of the area is easy enough to follow once you know where the cross streets are. We keep the windows open to let in a breeze, even if it means we hear every motorbike that passes by. We aren't fancy people and we don't pretend to be. We just show up every morning, do what needs to be done, and head home when the sun starts to go down. It’s a steady way to live.
