Mafoi

We are located at 1436 37 in Sec22B, over in Chandigarh. It’s a clean area compared to some other places. Mafoi has been in this spot for a while now. The office is tucked away and doesn’t look like much from the outside. Inside, it’s just a few desks and some very old chairs that squeak every time you move. We mostly handle local inquiries and manage our records from here. It gets very quiet in the afternoons. Sometimes I think it’s too quiet, so I turn on a small radio. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who have known each other for years. We don’t use a lot of jargon or complicated systems. If someone needs something, they just ask and we see if we can do it. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. We’ve got a window that looks out onto the back alley. It’s not a great view, but it lets in some light. We usually finish up around five thirty. Chandigarh is a nice place to work because things are a bit more organized than in the bigger cities. We just keep our heads down and do our daily tasks. No one here is trying to be a hero. We’re just working. We might grab some food together after we close up the shutters.
