Our place, M S Recorders Medicare Systems P Ltd, is tucked away at 457 Behalana. It’s right near the Civil Air Port in Chandigarh. Being near the airport means we hear the planes a lot, but you get used to it after a week or so. We work with medical systems, mostly dealing with the technical side of things. It’s quiet work for the most part. The team here is small, just a few of us who have been together for years. We handle a lot of boxes and technical manuals. The office can get a bit cold in the Chandigarh winters, so we keep the heater going and the tea hot. We don’t go in for big corporate meetings. We usually just talk over what needs doing while we’re having lunch. It’s practical work. Doctors and clinics need their equipment to work, and we help with that. We’ve seen the area grow quite a bit since we started. There used to be less traffic on the way to the airport. Now, it’s always busy. We just keep doing what we do. No one here is trying to be a big boss. We just want to make sure the systems are running right and the customers aren’t left waiting too long. It’s a steady pace, and that suits us just fine. We just take it one day at a time.
