Our office is right on the top floor of building 2255 in Sector 44 C. If you’ve ever walked up those stairs in the Chandigarh heat, you know it’s a bit of a climb. We spend most of our time looking at resumes and talking to people who are looking for a change. Being Lms Job Consultants means we hear a lot of stories. Some people are nervous, some are overconfident. We just sit at our desks and try to find a match that makes sense. Chandigarh is a planned city, but finding the right person for a job feels less organized than the streets outside. We have a lot of folders stacked up and the printer is usually jammed. It’s not a high-end corporate suite. It’s just a room with some tables and a view of the sector. We talk to employers and we talk to candidates. There’s a lot of back and forth. Sometimes we stay late because a client calls after hours. We don’t have a big philosophy or a grand vision. We just want to help someone get a paycheck and help a company fill a seat. It’s plain and simple work. We know the local market pretty well by now. Most of our day is spent on the phone or responding to emails that pile up overnight. It’s a decent living and we like the people we meet along the way.
