Jai Maa Jagran Mandal

We run Jai Maa Jagran Mandal from our flat in Gh-6, specifically Flat No-603-B in Sector 20, Panchkula. We are quite near Guru Kul School, which is a nice, quiet part of the Chandigarh area. Most of what we do involves religious gatherings and musical events like jagrans. It is a bit of a niche, but we have been doing it for a long time. Our space isn't a typical office; it is more like a home base where we keep our instruments and sound gear. We spend a lot of our time traveling to different sectors or nearby villages. Most of our work happens at night, so our schedule is a bit upside down compared to most people. It can be exhausting, but we have a good group of people who have been with us for years. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends. We try to keep things simple and traditional. Sometimes the microphones don't work or the van breaks down, but those are just the little problems we solve every week. We aren't trying to be the biggest group in town, just one that shows up on time and does what we said we would. Being in Sector 20 is good for us because it’s easy to get onto the main roads from here. It is honest work and we enjoy being part of the community.
