Goyal Steel

Goyal Steel is based over at 784 Industrial Area Ph-2. It’s a pretty standard industrial setup here. There is always the sound of metal moving around and the smell of the workshop. We have been in Phase 2 for a long time, and you get used to the grit and the noise of the neighboring factories. Most of our day is spent dealing with stacks of steel and making sure orders are ready for pickup. The yard gets quite dusty when the wind picks up, but that’s just how it is in this part of the city. We have a small office area where we keep the records, but most of the action happens out on the floor. It’s hard work, and the guys are usually busy with the heavy lifting. We don’t have any slick brochures or anything like that. People just know where we are and what we do. The trucks come in through the main gate, and we get them loaded up as fast as we can. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the inventory. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, which slows things down, but we just pick up where we left off. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. There’s no mystery to it. We just show up every morning and get the steel out the door. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't, just a steel yard doing its thing. It gets pretty loud when the heavy machinery is running, but you learn to talk over it.
