Our center is up in the hills, in a village called Chatter, near Andretta. It’s in the Palampur area of Kangra, so the air is a lot fresher than in the cities. We’re not a big corporate office; it’s more like a local training spot for the youth around here. The building is simple, made of local materials, and we have a few rooms set up with equipment for the courses. Getting here can be a bit of a climb if you're not used to the mountain roads. We focus on teaching skills that help people find actual work. I usually start the day by opening the windows to let the mountain air in, even if it's a bit chilly in the winter. We don’t have a lot of fancy gadgets, just what is necessary for the training. The students come from the nearby villages, and sometimes they bring us fruit from their farms. It’s a very grounded kind of place. We don’t use big words or have complicated rules. We just show up, do the training, and help out where we can. Sometimes the electricity goes out during a storm, and we just have to wait it out. Life moves a bit slower here in Himachal Pradesh, and our institute reflects that. It’s about getting people ready for jobs without all the fuss. It's a quiet life up here in the mountains.
