Our place is out in Phase 2 of the Ramdarbar Industrial Area, specifically at Plot-615. It’s right near the petrol pump, which makes it easy to give directions to truck drivers. Being in an industrial zone means it is never really quiet. There is always the sound of metal clanging, machines running, or engines idling outside. The office part is just a small section partitioned off from the main shed where the actual work happens. It’s dusty and smells like iron and oil, which is just how a steel place should be. We don't have any fancy reception area at Him Steel Industries. If you come to see us, you’ll likely find us in work clothes rather than suits. We spend most of our time checking orders and looking over the production on the floor. The heat from the machines can be a lot during the summer months, but we just keep the big doors open. It’s a practical environment where the focus is on the steel, not on looking good. We’ve got piles of raw material in the yard and finished products waiting to be loaded. It is a straightforward operation. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write pretty words for us. We just handle the steel and make sure the orders get loaded onto the trucks. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do here every day at Plot-615.
