Our workplace is tucked into House No 5216, which is one of the LIG Flats in Sector 38 West. It has more of a residential feel here in Chandigarh compared to the city center. This space has been our base for immigration consultancy for a long time. Instead of a glass office building, it’s just a regular flat where we’ve put our desks and filing cabinets. A lot of the work involves looking at visa requirements and figuring out the paperwork for various clients. It stays quiet enough around here, which is good when you need to focus on tiny details. Phone calls come in all day long from people wanting updates on their files. Since we are in Sector 38, it’s a bit of a drive for some, but people find us eventually. We keep the whole operation pretty low-key. There isn't a fancy reception area, just us working through the piles of documents every day. We handle many different countries and visa types, so there is always something new to learn about the laws. It can be a stressful time for the people we help, so we try to be as clear as possible about their files. Steady work has kept us here, and we’ve gotten to know the people in the flats quite well. We just stick to what we know and keep the process moving along. There is always some form to fill out or a client to call back.
