Hdfc Bank Ltd Pune

This branch is a bit of an interesting one because the name says Hdfc Bank Ltd Pune but the actual physical location is way up in Village Devidehra. That’s in the Pobathri area of Chamba, Himachal Pradesh. It’s a very different vibe from a big city. Being in the hills of India means things move a little slower sometimes. The air is fresher, though it can get really cold in the winter months. We are sitting here in this village, far away from the busy streets of Pune. It’s a small operation, really. Most of the people who come in are locals from the village or nearby parts of Chamba. They know us and we know them. We handle the basic banking things they need without any of that corporate talk you hear in the bigger cities. The office is simple and functional. We deal with the paperwork and the accounts while looking out at the mountains. It can be a challenge when the weather gets bad or the roads are blocked, but we manage to stay open. It’s a quiet life in Devidehra. We don’t have a lot of the fancy equipment you might see elsewhere, but we have what we need to get the work done. It’s just a plain bank branch in a beautiful, quiet part of Himachal Pradesh, doing what needs to be done every day to help the folks who live in this mountain community.
