Haryana Iron & Steel Co.

Our place, Haryana Iron & Steel Co., is located at P No-114 in Manimajra, right on the Old Mansa Devi Road. We call it the Hisco Coal House. If you come by, you’ll see it’s a very industrial-looking spot. There is usually a lot of black dust around because of the coal, and the iron piles can get quite high. It’s not the cleanest place to work, but it’s honest work that needs to be done. We’ve been on this road for a long time, watching Manimajra grow and change around us. The building is old and looks a bit worn down, but it’s sturdy enough for the heavy materials we handle. Most of our day is spent moving things around, checking stock, and talking to truck drivers. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning; we mostly just leave the doors open to get a breeze, even if it brings in the dust. My hands are rarely clean by the end of the day, and that’s just how it is. We have a small desk tucked in the corner for the billing and records, which are mostly kept in big ledger books. People know us for being reliable and being in the same spot for years. We don’t bother with much advertising. Most people just know to come to the Old Mansa Devi Road if they need what we have. It’s a tough, gritty environment, but we’re used to it.
