Happy Transport

Happy Transport is based out of Zirakpur. If you know the area, you know how busy the roads get around here with all the traffic coming through. We spend a lot of our time just dealing with that. Our office is a simple place where we keep the keys and the ledgers. There is always someone sitting by the phone waiting for a call about a pickup or a delivery. We don't use any high-tech systems, just a lot of notebooks and pens that usually run out of ink when you need them. The yard is where most of the action happens. It gets muddy when it rains, which is a bit of a mess to clean up. We see a lot of different faces every week. Some drivers have been coming here for years and we know their families by now. It’s not a quiet job. There is always a motor running or someone shouting across the lot. We just take it one day at a time and try to make sure nothing gets left behind. Sometimes we stay late to finish the loading if a truck was delayed on the highway. It is a lot of hard work and not much rest, but that is just the way the transport business is in Zirakpur. We don't have any big speeches or anything, we just work.
