Our office is over in Sector 34A, right in that big block of SCO buildings. It’s number 80-81-82, so it’s a decent sized space compared to some of the others around here. Being near Piccadilly Mall means there is always something going on nearby. It’s a loud area with lots of students and people shopping or going to the movies. Inside here, it’s mostly just desks and files. We deal with various enterprise tasks, mostly things that people need help with on a daily basis. We don’t really do anything flashy. It’s just about getting through the work and making sure the records are right. The morning starts with opening up the shutters and getting the computers going. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that’s the highlight of the hour. We get a mix of people coming in, some who know exactly what they want and others who are just looking for information. The furniture is a bit older now, but it’s comfortable enough for a long day. We have been in this part of Chandigarh for a bit, so we know the local rhythm well. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby stall because there are so many options around Sector 34. It’s a practical setup we’ve got going, and we just focus on the job at hand without any big slogans or corporate talk. We just try to get the tasks finished as they come in every day.
