Grand Travel Planners Pvt Ltd is over in Sector 17C, inside the Sco-55-56 building. We are up on the first floor in cabins 14 to 16. It’s quite close to CMC Hospital, which is how most people find their way to us. Sector 17 is the heart of the city, so there is always a lot of walking traffic around. Our office setup is a bit tight with the different cabins, but it works for us. It gives us a bit of privacy when we are talking to people about their travel plans or visa papers. We spend a lot of time doing the boring stuff like filing and checking passport numbers. It isn't always exciting, but it has to be done right. We have some old maps on the walls and plenty of stacks of paper on the desks. Sometimes the building gets a bit chilly in the winter or too hot in the summer, but we just get on with it. We handle a lot of different things, from simple train tickets to more complicated overseas trips. People usually just walk in because they are already in the sector for shopping or errands. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby. You just come in, find one of us in a cabin, and we talk. It’s a very local, regular kind of place to work.
