Even though we’re part of the Government of Himachal Pradesh, this particular branch or representative spot is right here in Chandigarh. It’s a practical location for us to handle things that need to be dealt with outside the main state borders. The neighborhood is a mix of residential and small offices, so it feels quite local. We don’t have a big team here, just a handful of staff looking after the files and the phone calls. Most days are spent updating records or coordinating with the main offices back in HP. The office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got our desks, a couple of old chairs for visitors, and filing cabinets that have seen better days. It’s not the kind of place that’s designed for show.
