Up here in Mohali, Global Hello Sky Scrappers Tech is where we spend our days. The Punjab weather changes a lot, but we are mostly inside with the AC or the heater on depending on the month. We do a lot of technical work, mostly focused on software or support tasks that keep us busy from morning until late evening. The name sounds a bit grand, but we are really just a group of people who enjoy working with computers. Our office isn't in a skyscraper, despite the name, but we have enough space for everyone to have their own corner. There is usually a lot of coffee involved in our daily routine. Sometimes we get stuck on a problem for hours and everyone pitches in to figure it out. It’s a casual atmosphere here. People wear what they want and we don't have many formal meetings. We just talk across the room when something needs doing. The internet connection is our lifeline, so when it goes down, everything stops and we just wait it out. We’ve had some long nights when a project is due, but we usually manage to get things done. It’s a good group of folks who know their stuff. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations. We just focus on the screens and the code and try to make things work.
