Gem Overseas

Gem Overseas is based out of Punjab, at the 0 170 address. It’s a bit of a plain spot, but it works for what we need to do every day. The surroundings are mostly open spaces and other small industrial units. We spend a lot of our time dealing with boxes and checking lists to make sure everything is where it should be. The weather here changes quite a bit, so some days we are freezing and other days we are sweating while we load up the goods. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any of those things you see in big city offices. Just a desk, a phone, and some shelves filled with samples and documents. Usually, you can hear the sound of trucks passing by outside on the main route. We’ve got a small kettle for making tea, and that’s about the only luxury we have here. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers and making sure the counts are right. It gets a bit messy sometimes with all the packing materials lying around, but we try to clear it out by the end of the week. People around here know us as the place that’s always busy with shipments. It’s a straightforward way of living and working. We don't worry too much about the decor as long as the work gets done and the items move out on time.
