Forest Department Haryana

We are based over in Phase 11 of SAS Nagar, Mohali, at number 222. This is an official office for the Haryana Forest Department, but it feels more like a working hub than a typical government building. There are always stacks of files on the desks and maps pinned to the walls. People are often coming in and out, many of them wearing field gear because they’ve been out looking at trees or land. It’s not a place for fancy decor. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the chairs have been here for years. We spend a lot of time on paperwork, dealing with permits and planning. The office is usually quite busy in the mornings, then it quiets down in the afternoon as people head out. We have a small area where visitors can sit and wait, but it’s pretty basic. There’s no fancy coffee machine, just a kettle for tea. It is a very functional space meant for doing a specific job. We don’t have any marketing slogans because we aren't trying to sell anything. We just manage the tasks assigned to us. The location in Phase 11 is easy enough to find, and there’s usually some space to park nearby. It’s a straightforward environment where everyone knows what they need to do. We just keep our heads down and work through the files. This building has seen many years of work.
