Express Travel

We are based at Sco-1048-49 on the first floor. Express Travel is the name, and we are in Cabin No -1 in Sector-22 C. We are right opposite the ISBT in Sector 17, which makes it very convenient for people coming off the buses. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the busy road. It’s a small office, mostly just a desk, a computer, and some chairs. We handle a lot of last-minute bookings because of where we are situated. People miss a bus or decide they want a private car, and they walk across to see us. It keeps us on our toes. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us working through the files. The building is an older one, typical for this part of Chandigarh. We've got regulars who have been coming to this cabin for years. We don't do anything fancy with our decorations or anything. It’s just a place to work. We spend a lot of time checking the traffic reports near the bus stand. It’s noisy outside with the horns and the crowds, but it’s the life of the city. We just try to keep our bookings straight and our customers informed about their travel times. It’s practical work and we enjoy being in the middle of it all. We stay until the last booking is confirmed and the driver has left.
