Export Executive

We have been operating out of house number 1060 in 3B2 Mohali for quite some time now. This part of Chandigarh is usually pretty busy, especially during the day when everyone is rushing to get their things sorted. We run Export Executive from here, and it is mostly just us dealing with the paperwork and shipping stuff that comes through. It is not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. Just a regular place where we sit and try to make sense of the regulations and the logistics of moving goods out. Sometimes the traffic outside gets to be a bit much, but we like being in this area because everything is close by. People drop in, we have some tea, and we talk about what needs to happen next for the week. It is practical work. You learn a lot just by doing it every day. We do not really have a big team, just a few of us who know the ropes. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the files, and other days it feels like the phone will not stop ringing because someone’s shipment is stuck or needs a signature. That is just how it goes in this business. We do not try to make it sound more complicated than it is. We just show up at the 3B2 office, handle the tasks on our desks, and go home when the work is finished. It is a living.
