You can find Essar Steel Ltd over in Chandigarh, right in Sector 42-B. We are on the first floor of house number 1411. Chandigarh is a very organized city, and being in Sector 42 feels a bit different than our other industrial locations. It’s cleaner and the roads are wider. We use this first-floor space to coordinate our operations in the northern region. It’s basically a converted residential space that works perfectly for our small team. We have our computers, our ledgers, and a lot of coffee. We spend the day talking to vendors and making sure the steel shipments are on track. There’s no big sign or flashing lights. We like to keep a low profile and just focus on the work. People in this neighborhood are nice, and it’s a good environment to work in. We don't have a lot of walk-in customers, but we are always busy with the phone. The work we do is practical. We don't use a lot of big words to describe it. We just manage the flow of steel and make sure the paperwork is filed correctly. It’s a steady job and we’ve been doing it from this same spot for quite a while now. If you’re in the area and need to talk about a supply, you just head up to the first floor. We are usually around during the normal day hours, unless we are out on a site visit.
