Even though the name says Chandigarh, this branch of Dr Lal Path Labs is actually located in Patiala. We are at House Number 20F in Ranjeet Nagar. The easiest way to find us is to look for Amrit Karyana Store on Seona Road; we are right near there. It’s a busy little neighborhood with people coming and going for their daily groceries. Our lab is in a converted house, which makes it feel a bit more familiar to the people living on this street. We have the usual setup with a small desk at the front and a back room for the actual lab work. Most mornings are a rush of people coming in for blood draws. You can hear the sounds of the street, cars honking, and people talking at the shop next door. We keep the place tidy, but it's a working lab, so there are always boxes of supplies being moved around. The staff knows the regulars by name now. We don't use any fancy talk here. We just take the samples, make sure the names are right, and send them off for testing. The Seona Road area can get quite dusty in the summer, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. It is a very local operation, serving the people who live in Ranjeet Nagar and the surrounding patches of Patiala.
