Dilraj Singh Brar

You can find me, Dilraj Singh Brar, over at 101 Sector 1 on the 1st Cross of Laxmi Road. It is a busy little corner of the world. My office is right there where all the noise from the street comes in through the window. I don't mind it much because it feels like being part of the city. I spend most of my hours sitting at a wooden table covered in files. Some of the folders are getting a bit frayed at the edges. I don't have any shiny furniture or big posters on the walls. It is just a practical space for doing work. Laxmi Road is always moving, so there is always something to see if I take a break and look outside. I handle the daily chores and the paperwork that comes with this kind of life. Sometimes people drop by without calling first, which is fine, though it can get a bit crowded in the small waiting area. I try to keep a pot of water ready for whoever comes in. The light in the afternoon gets a bit bright, so I usually have to squint at the screen. I’ve lived and worked around here long enough to know the rhythms of the street. It is just a normal place where I do my bit every day without any fuss.
