We are Dee Ess Tent & Caterers, based out of Zirakpur. Our spot is in Sigma City 2, which is on the Lohgarh Road. It's quite easy to find us if you look for the Vishkarma Mandir nearby. We do a lot of work around here and also go over to Chandigarh quite often for jobs. The business covers the basics of what you need for an event, like putting up the tents and handling the food. It’s a lot of physical work, moving poles and heavy cooking stuff around. We started doing this because there are always celebrations happening in this part of Punjab. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but we just deal with it. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just a group of us who know how to set things up and get the catering done. We spend most of our mornings checking the inventory and making sure the fabric for the tents is clean. People in Zirakpur and Chandigarh call us for all sorts of things, from birthdays to bigger family functions. We try to be practical about what we can offer and just do what we say we will. It’s hard work but it keeps us busy throughout the year. Being near the temple means we see a lot of people passing by every day. We are just local folks making a living. Every season brings different challenges, but we keep going.
