Daya Communication is based in Sector 26. The shop isn't very large, just a simple room with some glass cabinets and a workbench in the corner where the tools are kept. We mostly handle mobile recharges and sell some basic handsets for people who just want a phone that makes calls. It’s a bit of a messy place, to be honest, with wires and spare parts scattered around the back desk. We don't have a receptionist; you just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. Usually, that's me or my brother. We’ve had the same sign outside for years and it’s started to fade a bit in the sun. Sector 26 is a lively area, and we get a lot of workers from the nearby shops coming in to top up their balance or buy a new cable. We don't have a website or any social media pages to show off. If people need us, they just know where we are. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use a flashlight to finish a repair, which is a bit of a pain. We try to keep things simple and don't try to sell people things they don't actually need. It’s a straightforward business, and we’ve lived in this neighborhood all our lives, so we know most of the people who come in. It’s just how we live and work.
